My little cowgirl

Izzy has an obsession with shoes. Guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it? :) These pink cowboy boots are a new favorite of hers. We went to the Children's Museum the other day and all the toddlers took their shoes off to go play. Of course my child refused and wore the slip on shoe covers, adult sized I might add because none of the kids wear them, over her boots just so she wouldn't have to part from them!

The New Addition

I told you I couldn't wait to photograph this little one! How adorable is she?!?! Baby N is so alert and strong too! She was picking her head up at less than a week old. There were no complaints from this one naked. She was in her element! What a babe!!!!

Surprise!!!!

We headed up to East Texas last weekend for a fun surprise party for my sister-in-law. What's more fun than throwing a surprise luau?! The decorations my sister-in-law, Laure, and mother-in-law put together were fabulous and the food was delicious! Top that off with a crowd of good friends and family and you have got one happening PARTY! Here a few of my favorites from the event. Welcome Baby N!

Have you ever seen anything sweeter than this little bundle of joy? She's 2 days old here. I can't wait to photograph her more soon! Her mom is doing well. :)

Boutique Modeling

We've joined the world of boutique modeling on eBay! Our first set was sent to us by Michele of Elite Boutique Designs. This is an adorable shirt and shorts outfit and Izzy loved modeling it because it is so comfortable. Don't you dig the orange shoes?! We will be modeling for more talented eBay designers soon so keep checking back!

Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice

That's what these little girls are made of! This session was so much fun! I was asked to take photos of this family and their FUN FUN three little ones! This SO makes me want to have more kids...and especially three little girls. Their poor dad is going to have to watch out for all the boys as they get older!!! Isn't this just the cutest family?! Their home was gorgeous to match! Here are a few from the session to share with everyone...

Another try

Looking at my last few attempts to do hi key was unsettling. I knew I had to get them right. So I made a few adjustments and I think I'm getting there! Here are a few from today's attempt. The dress was made by Me, with the help of my mother-in-law on the button holes. Don't you love the rhinestone buttons?! What little girl doesn't need a little bling?

People have begun asking for cards and rates. So I whipped these up with the help of a little template and Photoshop. What do you think? I kind of like them!

New Toys!!!

For my birthday I was lucky enough to get some fabulous gift certificates from my family for PHOTOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT!!! Yay! Thanks FAMILY!!! I hit up the B&H website and bought some goodies to go along with my Alien Bee. Here's my first few attempts at what people call "Hi Key" photography. I'm working on getting some of the kinks out of proper setup of the lighting for a crisper brighter look. But I thought I'd post these so that I could track my progress.

I went to Austin this past weekend for a maternity shoot. Couldn't have found a more willing and beautiful model. She is due August 20th and is looking so good! If only we could all be so petite at month 8. Her husband got in on the action towards the end of the shoot and was such a trooper! Here's a little sneak peek at some of the many shots we caught.
